After becoming interested in the alternative medicine field while still an airline pilot, Renita Herrmann studied during layovers and received her MS in Natural Health (summa cum laude). She did not understand homeopathy, but she was intrigued. Signing up for a four-year program at the Institute of Classical Homeopathy, she expected to complete one year, and be satisfied. But as she describes it, "Homeopathy had me in its thrall." The four years flew by. After 2 years of clinical experience, she volunteered at a local San Francisco clinic once a week. She has been at the Mission Neighborhood Resource Center since 2005. In her own words, "I realized how valuable this modality, homeopathy, can be. I never looked back. I have seen it do things I never thought possible, and have learned so much since my Master's Degree."
The Homeopathy Institute of the Pacific was born out of a dedication to expand the use of homeopathy in clinics and reach out with information and education. Renita has also started a second homeopathic clinic at COTS in Petaluma, where she treats homeless and veterans. Her writing has been published in Homeopathy Today. She maintains a private practice as a registered, certified Classical Homeopath in San Francisco. For more information, please visit her website at www.sfhomeopath.com. X - X

Johanna fell in love with homeopathy in the early 1990's, when she began using homeopathic remedies for herself, and soon after for her toddler. The 'energy-medicine' aspect of homeopathic microdoses was what compelled her to enroll in the 4-year program at the Institute Of Classical Homeopathy.
She held her own homeopathic practice in San Francisco for 10 years, adding LLLT (Low-Level Laser Light, or Cold Laser) to her repertoire in 2009, and is currently working on her certification as a Divine Healing Hands Healer, which she considers a higher octave of her first love--homeopathy.
Johanna is the newest Board Member of HIP, and currently is training to participate in the HIP Veterans Clinic with her beloved colleagues. She is also a member of the Bay Area Homeopathy Association (BAHA), and the National Center for Homeopathy (NCH). X - X
Although I have learned a tremendous amount about homeopathy through books and teachers, my first experience of it was personal–lifting me from a chasm of grief and depression I hadn’t even been able to name. Having that experience leaves no doubt of the power of this kind of treatment. It is incredibly gratifying when I see these transformations in the lives of my clients.
Cynthia Kingsbury is a Classical Homeopath, trained at the rigorous 4-year program at the Institute of Classical Homoeopathy in San Francisco. She has been treating clients since 2006, and practices in Santa Cruz, CA and the greater Bay Area. She volunteers as a homeopath at the Committee on the Shelterless in Petaluma.
